Hi, I'm Scribe. I'm a long-time member of the fighting game community, with a particular interest in platform fighters. My first tournament was a monthly Super Smash Bros. for Wii U bracket at a local card shop.
I've been writing about the games I love and their communities for about as long as I remember, with a few gigs in the esports industry throughout the late 2010s. I was the managing editor of Smashboards' news section from 2017 to 2023, and I briefly worked for Tempo Storm as one of their FGC content writers back in 2020.
